The transaction includes the 39-storey office building and the shopping centre, but excludes the adjoining CaixaForum.
The capital management company Argis has strengthened its strategy in unique assets in Spain following the acquisition of Torre Sevilla, an iconic and stabilised property that expands its portfolio to 120,000 square metres in the domestic market. With this transaction, Argis also consolidates its presence in Andalusia, where it already had an asset in Málaga, and has received legal and financial advice from Tornos Abogados and Ugarte Rebollo y Asociados, while Cuatrecasas has advised CaixaBank.
The capital management company has emphasised that this acquisition allows it to add ‘an iconic and already stabilised asset’ to its real estate portfolio, thereby strengthening its strategy in ‘unique assets’.
Torre Sevilla, inaugurated eight years ago on Isla de la Cartuja, combines offices, a hotel and a shopping centre across 39 floors and maintains an occupancy rate of over 95%, consolidating its position as a strategic economic and commercial hub in Seville.
